I could write an essay on the rights and wrongs of coffee making, but I want to keep this simple. here are ten reasons why cafe haven offers you a fantastic cup of coffee:
- the green bean. Transcend Coffee is involved deeply in the process of coffee selection. Regular trips to coffee-growing countries, visits to farms to form strong working relationship with the farmers and rigorous assessment of all their coffees on a daily basis based on aroma and taste (known as 'cuppings').
- the roasting process. Transcend's approach to roasting involves small batches carefully monitored and assessed. Chad Moss, Transcend Coffee's roaster, works closely with Cafe Haven to develop the best tasting cups of coffee for our customers.
- fresh roast. our coffee is never more than nine days off the roast. our coffee is roasted to order every week and we date every bag of coffee so that our customers know they are getting fresh beans.
- we grind on demand. we never hold grind for longer than 5 minutes due to the rapid oxidisation of coffee. this is essential in creating the perfect espresso. you'll taste the difference in your latte.
- our coffee making process. The staff at Transcend Coffee, who actively compete in barista competitions, train our staff to follow a meticulous process for making espresso and adhere to strict standards that ensure every drink is of the highest quality.
- we use one jug for texturing milk for one drink. essential for creating creamy tasting milk and tight microfoam.
