About Suzanne Morter:
Suzanne has been a CPA (CMA) since 1999 and has worked extensively in both the for-profit and not-for-profit world of business. Prior to accounting, she worked in the hotel and restaurant industries, was a tennis pro for a summer, and worked in the central warehouse at Cominco, Trail, BC. picking and delivering orders. During a particularly tough summer in the late 80’s when no jobs were available, she set up her own business working at jobs no one else wanted to do. While not making much money, the experience was very instructive and a great motivator for higher education!
She is considered a non-traditional accountant by her peers and values most highly a compliment by one of her former provincial audit clients indicating he was looking forward to the annual audit having discovered she was on the audit team. It is her mission to help small business owners gain a better grasp of their financial records and has actually had several claim to be having “FUN” in doing their books.
